Probilt Body and Trailer has is now building trailers. The pictures below are taken of our most recent trailers.
You can order your trailer with almost any option available on the market. We offer all extruded post with extrusion top and bottom rails. As well as the extrusion, these trailers can be ordered with aluminum centrifused drums, aluminum wheels and aluminum draft arms to decrease trailer weight. When ordering a trailer you can specify whether you would like these options or would rather have steel draft arms and steel wheels. The draft arms have break away coupler plates to reduce damage to the tractor in the case of turning the trailer over. The landing gear in the pictures are of a two speed but we offer standard drop leg landing gear also. Seen above is a flip style tarp system. This is not standard, you can order rollover or slide and go tarp systems either manual or electric. The suspensions on these trailers are Intraxx with 25,000 pound axles. We offer Hendrickson or Ridewell, steering or nonsteering, lift axle suspensions. Lifting the trailer you will find Custom hoist. Tire sizes can be changed by the customer.
By design our trailers are among the lightest trailers available. When constructing them we cut no corners to maintain strength and durability. Our use of specific material thicknesses and construction help to create trailers that hold up to our expectations. Being light weight is essential but being light weight without being weak is a necessity.
When building your customized trailer please inform us on any special needs. For instance if you need a swing gate, standard gate or any of the mentioned with a coal door. Also if you would like to specify aluminum hubs and centrifused drums or any other options please express them while getting a quote.
